What is Rich Text?
Rich text is most easily described as text that can be formatted similar to any word processor.
You may make text BOLD, Italicized, underlined or even change colors. Rich text may also include Hyper-links and Images. This page was written with a Rich Text Editor
In WebsiteForge.com, the Rich Text Editor is used for several purposes:
For all three applications, operating the editor is essentially the same. The only slight difference is how the Editor toolbar looks.
Rich Text Frames
The default Frame Type is Rich Text. Rich text is uses to insert text copy, images, links, and many other special functions. Every Rich Text page has an editor similar to any word processor. This editor also contains the controls needed to adjust the page layout and can be used to change the Frame Type.
You can see that the Rich Text Toolbar (grey floating area with icons on it) consists of two areas: Frame Management Toolbar and Editor Toolbar.
For the explanation of the Frame Management controls, see the Managing Frames section.
